Puppy Tips And So Much More!

I just got a puppy a few weeks ago. When my dad leaves in the morning around 6 (my mom already left for work) she barks untill somebody wakes up to play (me and my brother are left alone) Anyway to get her to stop? Do you think that this is a phase? I just don't want her to not grow out of it.

It's a puppy thing. Its ready to start its day. take it for a walk. then go back to your sleep.

She is ready to start her day. A good walk first thing will calm her down.

she is probably telling u that she needs food or she wants to go on a walk or she wants to go outside or something like that. my dog is the same way.

She needs to potty……….get up ………..get going with her. She is a baby and as she ages her bladder will grow also. But for now ………..get up and get her out . Otherwise you are responsible for her "accidents" she can only hold it so long

Any why are you not up at 6 am taking her out to the bathroom and feeding her??? She is also suffering from separation anxiety when she sees people leave and no one is in the house.

You need to get up take her outside to toilet, bring her back in, feed her in her crate, then 30 minutes later take her back out to toilet, then you need to play with her for a little while, then back out to toilet, then she will probably nap for 2 hours, then when she wakes up, back out to toilet, then lunch, then 30 minutes later out to toilet again, so on and so forth.

when you have a puppy it's like having a baby that toilets outside, you don't get to sleep late or ignore the puppy, you have to be up early taking care of it.

If you can't be bothered find it a new home, there's no sleeping late or during the night until the dog is fully housebroken and grown.

It is both a phase and also a way for your dog to get your attention. With everyone else out of the house and the rest still sleeping, your dog just wants to have someone with her so she/he doesn't have to feel alone or abandoned. Try to calm your dog by letting her/him in your room when your parents are out of the house. That way, at least your dog can feel secure that someone else is left at the house with him/her.

Puppies/dogs are barking, pissing, bitting. This is in their nature. They need attention. Before taking puppy people should think about those things, not only that puppy is for playing with, for fun. Be responsible, try to understand the needs of your puppy.
Me, on my own am waking up about 5 most of the mornings. And I knew that will be this way before taking my puppy.
So replace trying to continue you sleeping in the mornings you can stand up even that is early and to play with her or bring her out, or give her something to eat.
